Heating Oil Delivery Services
W.B. Steward & Son has two oil delivery plans—Automatic Delivery and Will Call Delivery. Automatic deliveries are based on the customer’s oil usage throughout the year. Our system calculates and tracks that usage, so the customer doesn’t have to worry about watching their tank levels throughout the winter. It’s an easy way to make sure they never run out of oil!
However, for customers who do prefer to keep an eye on their oil usage themselves, we offer will call deliveries—so they can just call in whenever they’re getting low! We recommend calling in when there’s around a quarter of oil left in their tank, which should last them until our oil truck goes out for the next round of deliveries. During the fall and winter, the truck goes out regularly (a few times a week) for deliveries.
And should a customer find they’ve run out of oil—no worries! We can get the oil truck out for an emergency delivery. Our service technicians also carry a few gallons of oil and can start up a heater to get the heat up and running until the truck gets out to the customer.
Payments must be made by credit card, or through ACH.
On top of our regular coupons, we also offer a discount of up to 30 cents off per gallon. The discount applies to customers who are set up with automatic payment (either credit card or ACH), and can apply to customers whether they have a budget plan or not.
Budget Plan Details
W.B. Steward & Son also has a budget plan available for customers who want to make regular monthly payments! It’s an easier way for customers to pay for oil and makes monthly payments easy to account for since one amount is set for the 12- month budget period. The budget amount is calculated by the customer’s oil usage.
Budget customers are eligible for the 30 cents off per gallon, and coupons! (The discount is taken from the account at the end of the budget period.)
New Oil Customers
- Discount of 99 cents off per gallon for their first five deliveries (can’t be layered with other coupons and discounts).
- Discount of 30 cents off per gallon for all deliveries after that (as long as they are set up for automatic payment).
- Free tank inspection for above ground oil tanks. *For new oil customers, we must check the customer’s tank first, and luckily, oil tank inspections are free!

FAQs
“How often should I get oil delivered?”
The frequency of oil deliveries depends on a few factors—like the efficiency of the heating system, insulation of the home/building, the overall outdoor temperature, and the customer’s own heating preference. For example, generally, the customer will use more oil if they prefer it to be warmer inside, and if their home isn’t properly insulated, or their heating system isn’t running as efficiently as it could be.
“What do I need to do before an oil delivery?”
For customers who are new homeowners and their new home has oil heat, we highly recommend getting the oil tank inspected. It can be a costly risk to fill a tank that hasn’t been inspected recently—that’s why we offer free tank inspections to new oil heat customers!
“What do I do if I run out of oil?”
For customers who happen to run out of oil and are set up for automatic delivery we will get out the same day for a delivery, guaranteed. For will call customers, we will do our best to get out the same day—but even if our truck can’t make it, our technicians always carry a few gallons of heating oil with them, so they’ll be able to get the customer’s heater up and running for the time being.
When a tank shows that it’s empty, the heater will need to be primed and reset, and luckily our drivers and technicians can take care of that part—for no additional cost!
“How do I schedule a delivery?”
You can call our office anytime at (856) 845-9117 to schedule a delivery! We recommend calling for a delivery once the tank has a quarter of oil left in the tank; this will give the customer plenty of time before our next scheduled deliveries go out!
With automatic delivery, the customer won’t need to watch their tank levels—they can rest easy knowing that they’ll automatically be put into our delivery schedule.
